The game, developed by Capcom and Eighting, is a revision of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. It pits a player-selected team of three characters in combat against opponents. It retains original gameplay mechanics but offers modifications to the aerial combat and X-Factor systems.
New playable characters and aesthetic alterations further enhance the game. This game challenges players to devise strategies using different character combinations to ultimately knock out their adversaries.
