The Canadian tone woods used in the Art & Lutherie line possess excellent tonal qualities. They use only select pressure tested Solid Sitka Spruce Tops, Wild Cherry back and sides and Silver Leaf Maple necks. Wild Cherry has a sound somewhere between the mellow tone of Mahogany and the bright sound of Maple. Silver Leaf Maple, whose characteristics for sound, weight and density are incredibly similar to that of Mahogany, makes for a tonally sound and very stable neck.

Overall in good condition.  It could use a neck adjustment. The wear on the Art & Lutherie shows like a true performers' guitar. Its character mimics vintage guitars and plays well.  A previous owner painted the name "Julie" at the bottom.
